The IIA Net Visionary Awards celebrate what is most effective in digital technology – showcasing work that has transformed brands and organisations in Ireland.
Friday are delighted to have won in all 3 of our nominated categories at this year’s highly entertaining awards show in the RDS.
We picked up awards for Best Website for our work on the St Patrick’s Cathedral website, Best Social Media for the satirical General Election ‘Tinder’ app, TDer.ie and Best eCommerce for our work on the new user experience for iClothing.com.
“We’re delighted to get recognition in the 3 categories, and especially against the calibre of other nominees.” said David Jackson, Director of User Experience. “We have to say particular thanks to the teams at St Patrick’s Cathedral and iClothing for trusting Friday to deliver the vision”.
IIA CEO Joan Mulvihill was worthy winner of the Net Visionary of the Year 2016. We congratulate Joan and wish her the best of luck as she steps down from 7 great years at the organisation.
Friday’s winners on the night were:
- Best Website – “Most joyous to look at and splendid to use” for St Patrick’s Cathedral.
- Best Social Media Campaign – for General Election satirical online campaign ‘TDer‘.
- Best eCommerce Execution by a Retailer – for iClothing.com.
Graham Carroll, Client Services Director at Friday added: “Part of our manifesto at Friday is to change the fortunes of the organisations we work with. It’s brilliant when our work is recognised – proving the effectiveness of user experience and creativity is really important to us and our clients success.”
